Soldering Technician

Job Title: Soldering Operator

Pay: $20.00–$22.00/hr DOQ

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable Soldering Operator to perform hand soldering and electronic assembly on printed circuit boards (PCBs). This role requires attention to detail, steady hands, and the ability to follow work instructions and quality standards. Ideal candidates will have prior PCB soldering or electronic assembly experience and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform hand soldering on through-hole and surface-mount components.

- Assemble electronic circuit boards and related sub-assemblies.

- Follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials (BOMs).

- Inspect work for quality and accuracy to meet IPC and customer standards.

- Perform touch-up, rework, and basic troubleshooting as needed.

- Use microscopes, tweezers, cutters, and other small hand tools.

- Follow ESD procedures when handling sensitive components.

- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and meet daily production goals.

- Report defects, shortages, or process concerns to the supervisor.

- Assist with training or supporting team members when needed.

Qualifications

Required:

- High school diploma or GED.

- 1+ year of soldering, electronics assembly, or similar fine-detail manufacturing experience.

- Ability to read work instructions and assembly diagrams.

- Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

- Reliable attendance and ability to work a 10-hour shift schedule.
