Our client, an innovative leader in autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking a VH6 Associate to join their team. As a VH6 Associate, you will be part of the Mission Readiness team supporting fleet operations and vehicle maintenance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Software Testing Technician (VH6 Associate)
Location: Austin, TX
Pay Range: 29/hr.+ pay differencial
Shift: Thursday-Monday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (2nd Shift)
What's the Job?
- Support daily fleet operations at test sites, ensuring vehicles are ready for scheduled tests and services.
- Perform routine upkeep tasks such as cleaning, charging, and system checks on vehicles and supporting equipment.
- Assist with logistical tasks including the movement, storage, and organization of vehicles and spare parts.
- Execute mission prep procedures, including software deployment, configuration verification, and data capture.
- Support incident response efforts during vehicle recovery scenarios and provide technical support to team members.
What's Needed?
- 2 - 4 years of relevant work experience in vehicle maintenance, operations, or related fields.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel locally and nationally (less than 30%).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
