Software Engineer w/ Speech IVR

Introduction

This role involves working as a software engineer with a focus on speech IVR systems. The position requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite. The start date is scheduled for May.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)

• Cloud and call center technology knowledge preferred
• Clear understanding and experience with Agile/Lean methodologies
• Working level knowledge of JIRA, Bitbucket, GitHub Copilot, Confluence, Python
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, 5-6 years of experience
• Experience with Speech IVR or other client/user-facing systems (Online or Mobile) as an analyst, developer, designer, or tester
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required)

• Experience with Genesys Cloud CX and/or Genesys Architect or certification for the same
• Mobile or web-based software development project experience
• Good knowledge of Agile Lean Software Delivery Life Cycle and/or iterative development life cycles

Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role)

• Work with stakeholders to understand their needs, analyze problems, and capture their requirements
• Create Prototypes to share with both the business and technical teams to evaluate solutions
• Serve as the ultimate facilitator between Business and IT to understand business needs
• Create and execute plans and revise as appropriate to meet the changing needs and requirements of the project
• Influence, yet diplomatically communicate effectively with non-technical users/management
