Job Summary
We are seeking a senior?level Software Engineer with deep full?stack expertise to design, build, and support highly secure, enterprise?grade web applications. This role partners closely with product teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions across modern Java back?end services and framework?agnostic front?end architectures, with a strong emphasis on security, performance, and long?term portability.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable web applications using modern Java and JavaScript/TypeScript technologies.
- Lead or significantly contribute to application architecture, including backend services, messaging, and reusable front?end component systems.
- Design and implement framework?agnostic UI components that function in Angular today and remain portable across future frameworks.
- Apply secure coding standards, application security best practices, and accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1 AA).
- Create technical design documentation and follow approved software development lifecycle methodologies.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues through debugging, research, and root?cause analysis.
- Act as a technical partner to product teams, influencing design decisions and driving adoption of solutions.
- Contribute to and uphold high standards for code quality, testing, and automation across unit, integration, and functional levels.
Years of Experience and Education
- Typically requires 8+ years of professional experience in full?stack software development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Skills Required
- Expert: Core Java (17+), JavaScript (ES2020+), TypeScript, secure coding and application security, SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and performance tuning, messaging systems (JMS, IBM MQ or ActiveMQ), Spring Framework ecosystem (Spring, Spring Security, Spring Integration), test automation and testing strategies.
- Advanced: Spring Boot and Spring Batch, RESTful microservices and JSON, reusable UI component architecture, framework?agnostic UI design systems, Web Components / Custom Elements, technical communication.
- Experienced: Angular, accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA), AWS and cloud?based technologies.
- Strong understanding of browser rendering, the DOM, and front?end component API design.
- Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision and exercise sound technical judgment.
