Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure, mission critical software applications.
- Develop and maintain applications using high level programming languages such as Java, C, and C++.
- Build and support RESTful services and distributed system components.
- Develop, test, and troubleshoot applications on Unix/Linux environments.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate closely with cross functional engineering teams.
- Use Jira to manage development tasks, track progress, and maintain project transparency.
- Use GitHub for version control, code reviews, and branch management.
- Contribute to architectural design discussions, provide code reviews, and ensure best practice development standards.
Requirements
- 14 or more years of professional software engineering experience.
- At least 3 years developing for Unix/Linux environments.
- At least 3 years developing RESTful services.
- At least 4 years developing with high level programming languages such as Java, C, or C++.
- Experience working within Agile and Scrum environments.
- Experience with Jira for Agile workflow management.
- Experience using GitHub for version control and team collaboration.
- Active Full Scope Polygraph.
