We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our Global Data Insight & Analytics team. Your expertise will help us make data-driven decisions that positively impact our business and customers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in Software Engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience with developing for and deploying to cloud platforms (e.g., GCP).
- Proficiency in implementing and optimizing cloud services and tools (e.g., Terraform, BigQuery, GCP).
- Experience in development using Java/Python, Angular/React, and Spring/Node.
- Proven experience with software engineering practices such as Clean Code, Software Artisanship, and Lean methodologies.
- Willingness to collaborate daily with team members.
- Strong curiosity about using technology to enhance customer experience.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines, e.g., Tekton, Cloud Build.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working with technical experts, Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and business stakeholders.
- Delivered products that include web front-end development using JavaScript, CSS, frameworks like Angular.
- Experience with machine learning, mathematical modeling, and data analysis is a plus.
- Experience with JIRA, backlogs, iterations, user stories, or similar Agile Tools.
- Experience in the development of microservices.
- Understanding of fundamental data modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Product Manager, Product Designer, and other Software Engineers to deliver analytic solutions.
- Participate in and/or lead the development of requirements, features, user stories, use cases, and test cases.
- Work with the Business Customer, Product Owner, Architects, and Security Controls Champion on solution design, development, and deployment.
- Generate metrics, perform user access authorization, and build deployment pipelines.
- Participate in incident, problem, change, and service request-related activities, including root cause analysis and proactive problem management.
