Position Overview

The Software Engineer 2 / Web & Creative Specialist will support the Ecosystem Development organization as the primary owner of web updates, creative asset development, and digital content execution. This role combines strong technical web development skills with creative design expertise to enhance the developer portal, support marketing initiatives, and strengthen ecosystem branding.

The ideal candidate is a hybrid creative–technical professional with experience in web development, graphic design, and content management, capable of working cross-functionally in a fast-paced corporate environment.


Must‑Have Skills

  • Strong experience in Web Development, Graphic Design, and Content Management (all required).
  • Highly creative, with hands-on proficiency in Photoshop for editing product images.
  • Strong PowerPoint design skills for creative editing, redesigning, and enhancing presentations.
  • Video editing experience (nice-to-have).
  • Corporate experience is required (no freelance background).
  • Strong collaboration skills, working closely with content management and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with project management and managing multiple deliverables.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.

Position Summary

The Web & Creative Specialist will report to the Head of Ecosystem Development and serve as the creative and digital execution lead for the developer ecosystem. Responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing the developer portal, supporting newsletter publication, and creating high-quality marketing and design assets that support ecosystem growth and engagement.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise (HTML, markup languages, CMS platforms) and strong creative skills across graphic design, presentation development, and multimedia content production.


Key Responsibilities

Developer Portal Web Programmer

  • Manage updates and continuous improvements to the developer portal using HTML, markup, and an internal WordPress‑like CMS.
  • Project‑manage and publish content such as documentation, partner spotlights, blogs, and newsletter announcements.
  • Enhance user experience through layout improvements, structured formatting, and visual refinement.
  • Work closely with product, engineering, and partnership teams to align web content with ecosystem goals.
  • Support execution of updates to consumer-facing website pages as needed.

Visuals & Graphics Designer

  • Produce high-quality visual assets for web pages, newsletters, and social media.
  • Design and update marketing materials: PowerPoint decks, infographics, one-pagers, and promotional collateral.
  • Create and edit visual assets using Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Perform photo editing, compositing, and retouching.
  • Create and edit short-form video content using Adobe Premiere.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all digital and presentation deliverables.

Cross-Functional & External Engagement

  • Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Serve as the liaison between technical teams, marketing, and ecosystem partners to drive cohesive content strategy and execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university (required).
  • 7+ years of experience in web content management, digital marketing, or creative production.
  • Experience managing developer-facing platforms or technical content (preferred).
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and working knowledge of JavaScript.
  • Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress or similar).
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Microsoft Office design capabilities.
  • Understanding of SEO basics and content optimization.
  • Experience in digital health or healthcare technology preferred.

  • Ability to work onsite in Mountain View, CA.
  • Work is performed in an office environment requiring sitting/standing, computer use, and in-person communication.
  • Operates with minimal direct supervision and requires high levels of accountability.
