Software Developer

to supportthe Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at either Schriever Space Force Base in the Colorado Springs, CO area, or at the Redstone Arsenal in the Huntsville, AL area

Key Duties: - Perform application development supporting total lifecycle management and operations utilizing the Kinetic platform

- Plan, test, and implement major upgrades

- Perform local customizations and system enhancements necessary to meet business needs

- Work with a team of experienced software engineers to automate business processes and perform Operations and Maintenance (OandM) on existing applications

- Perform daily system checks, application configurations, vendor updates, respond to customer requests, and ensure security best practices and compliance with Information Assurance standards

- Interface with other team members to ensure cross-platform compatibility and standardization

- De-conflict requests and requirements

- Active Secret Clearance (or higher)

- Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (ex., Security + CE, CySA, etc.)

- 6 or more months of directly related experience

- Knowledge of various application technologies with a focus on web development, including React, Tomcat, HTML, JavaScript/JQuery, Ruby, Node.jk, REST APIs, and/or PostgreSQL

- Knowledge of the Kinetic Platform
