Software Business Analyst

Introduction

The role involves leading the analysis, documentation, and communication of requirements to support IT, business, and product strategy. The candidate will work on development and delivery using automation, workflow, and AI tools. This contract-to-hire role will require assisting with identifying and designing system requirements, project planning, and status reporting for implementation and rollout of assigned projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in gathering and translating business requirements into technical documentation.
• 5 years of business analysis experience within large-scope technical projects.
• Experience working with Agile development teams.
• Experience with Cloud/Web application and/or SaaS development projects.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Big Data and API integration experience.
• Automotive or OEM experience.
• Proficiency in LLM tools (Copilot, Gemini, Claude, etc.), JIRA, and MS Project.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, document, and translate business requirements into technical requirements and create traceability metrics.
• Define system and software requirements, flows, and interfaces based on customer needs.
• Facilitate meetings for design, requirements gathering, and resourcing, engaging vendors as needed.
• Collaborate with the Product team to proactively identify and remove roadblocks for development.
• Improve project efficiency by promoting and influencing continuous integration techniques.
