Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Specialist to join our team. This is a permanent position, ideal for someone who has a passion for social media and a knack for translating complex manufacturing concepts into engaging and digestible content. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all social media channels, creating and implementing social media campaigns, and tracking their success. They will be a key player in enhancing brand awareness, improving marketing efforts, and increasing sales.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy to increase online presence and improve marketing and sales efforts.
2. Define most important social media KPIs and track them regularly using tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite.
3. Manage, oversee and create content for all social media platforms.
4. Work with designers to ensure content is informative, appealing, and aligns with overall brand identity.
5. Monitor user engagement, suggest content optimization and proactively interact with our online community.
6. Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices, technologies, and industry trends.
7. Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, etc.
8. Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing.
9. Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product Development teams.
10. Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
11. Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
2. Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role with a minimum of 5 years experience.
3. Expertise in multiple social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.
4. In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
5. Strong understanding of social media KPIs and web traffic metrics.
6. Proficiency in content planning and audience engagement strategies.
7. Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research.
8. Good understanding of social media KPIs.
9. Familiarity with web design and publishing.
10. Excellent multitasking skills.
11. Great leadership skills.
12. Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
13. Team player with good time-management skills.
14. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
15. Experience with influencer marketing is a plus.
