A better for you food manufacturer is hiring for a Social Media Content Manager in their Long Island, NY Office (4 days a week on-site/1 day remote).
We're looking for someone who can think creatively about how to bring the brand to life online, leveraging the power of data and the ability to amplify all we do across platforms with focused goals of growth and conversion.
* Manage the social media strategy for the brand, aligned to the larger marketing strategy, brand priorities and marketing calendar
* Oversee the social media content calendar to fulfill the social media strategy
* Oversee social media content production, ensuring all content is engaging, entertaining and in our unique brand tone of voice and personality. Ideally youre able to create content yourself and have resources for scrappy ongoing content creation
* Manage execution of brand and campaigns in social channels (IG, TikTok, etc.).
* Responsible for the success of a range of KPIs including engagement, growth, revenue, etc.,
* Continuous ongoing monitoring and reporting of content performance and rolling out optimizations of platform and content strategies, based on those insights
* Own the execution of the brands Influencer Marketing program, including identification and outreach to build and maintain influencer relationships over time with the intent of raising awareness among new audiences nationally, driving revenue on Amazon, TikTok Shop and Shopify and driving activity and retail support in key markets
* Secure and execute Social Media Brand Partnerships* Oversee TikTok Shop test & learn strategy, owning creator pipelines and media recommendations to drive monthly growth on this new channel
* Be completely dialed into the current social media landscape and trends, keeping the brand relevant, current and involved while capitalizing on unexpected moments, mentions and news
* Continue to be a category expert with deep and broad knowledge of consumer insights, competitive landscape and emerging trends in both snacks and wellness
* Monthly reporting including data and insights across all tactics
* Maintenance of content and UGC libraries
* Exceed goals for community growth and referral traffic to brands website

Required Experience:
* Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, or similar field
* Minimum 5 years experience managing brand-owned social media accounts at a CPG company, including experience within a startup environment
* Proven expertise with all major social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, TikTok Shop, Facebook, X, YouTube and Pintrest
* Proven success in building and managing a brands influencer community in-house
* Proven ability to grow social media follower bases and drive revenue via social media marketing on Amazon, TikTok Shop and D2C/brand website
* Deep knowledge and passion for better-for-you snacks with experience marketing to our key audience a plus
* Balance of strategic, creative, analytical and detail-oriented skills
* Content creation, including photoshoot planning/management and talent wrangling a plus
* Creator IQ, Photoshop, and illustrator skills are a plus
* Passion for all things social media, pop culture and current events
* Self-starter with the ability and drive to execute with excellence and get sh*t done
* Highly organized with the ability, experience and interest to work on small, entrepreneurial brand and environment
* The position will be based in Long Island, NY a few days a week!
* Travel requirements will vary as business needs change, but up to 10-15% of travel is expected including attending in-person company meetings
The budget for this role is up to $100k base, 10% bonus, EQUITY and Employer Paid Benefits!
