Our Client, an Aerospace and Defense company, is looking for a SMT Operator for their Oldsmar, FL location.

Responsibilities:
- Operates through-hole or surface mount technology (SMT) automatic assembly equipment to produce high quality complex printed circuit board assemblies.
- Responsible for set-up, operation and routine maintenance.
- Manually or using semi-automatic equipment screen print solder paste. Operate adhesive dispensing equipment.
- Loads components supplied in tubes or reels onto feeders, and loads feeders onto placement equipment.
- May hand place some SMT components. Place assembled printed circuit boards into solder reflow ovens.
- May use standard electronic hand tools (solder, flux and adhesive).
- Utilize schematic diagrams, drawings, visual aides and other instructions to identify defects.
- Under limited supervision, responsible for moderately complex Surface Mount manufacturing processes utilizing automated equipment and hand assembly.
- Performs semi-routine SMT, Inspection and AOI equipment set-up, operation, and adjustment and utilizes other Surface Mount Technology equipment such as X-RAY, Stencil Printing, etc.
Requirements:
- HM has stated that candidates with machine operator experience do well in this position.
- Candidates must be able to work independently
- Candidates may work on different lines day by day, however the work will be very similar.
- Candidates must be able to read and write English
