We are a well-established union site work contractor operating throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. Our work focuses on excavation, site utilities, grading, storm sewer, and paving for a variety of commercial and civil projects.
We are a long-standing company with strong local roots, consistent work, and an experienced field team. As our backlog continues to grow and several senior leaders approach retirement, we are expanding our superintendent team to support long-term operations.

Job Details
The Site Work Superintendent will serve as the leader on the ground across multiple active job sites, directing union crews and ensuring site work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with plans and schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily field operations on excavation and site development projects
Lead crews of approximately 3–15 union operators and laborers
Direct and coordinate work involving:
Site utilities
Storm sewer
Grading and earthwork
Asphalt paving
Layout and site coordination
Enforce safety, quality, and productivity standards
Coordinate manpower, equipment, and work sequencing
Move between projects as work progresses across the Greater Philadelphia area
Requirements:
Experience as a Site Superintendent, Field Superintendent, or Senior Foreman
Strong background in civil / site work (utilities, grading, excavation, paving)
Proven ability to lead crews and manage field operations
Comfortable working in a union environment (superintendent role is non-union)
Leadership experience required; candidates newer to formal leadership will be considered if they demonstrate strong field command
Additional Information:
This is a non-union supervisory role overseeing union labor and operators
Superintendents direct work but do not self-perform manual labor
Occasional work in nearby South Jersey or Northern Delaware may be required
