Introduction

We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer specializing in Redis to join our team for a 6-month contract. This role involves engineering solutions, driving efficiency, and ensuring system reliability for our on-prem Redis database implementation.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)

• Direct experience with Redis, including specific projects or use cases
• Experience with caching mechanisms
• Experience with Redis cluster management
• Proficiency in Redis Enterprise Platform management and Redis development using Java and .NET
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required)

• Expertise in enterprise technologies, including DNS
• Core Java skills

Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role)

• Engineer Solutions: Develop best practice standards for our on-prem Redis database implementation and assist internal customers with meeting their technology and business requirements.
• Drive Efficiency: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and technologies to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness in software engineering practices for our Redis on-prem database solution.
• Technical Escalation: Provide Tier-3 support by assisting our SRE and L2 Operations team to resolve complex problems.
• Ensure System Reliability: Leverage software development and problem-solving expertise to create automation tools and runbooks, enhancing the reliability and stability of the Redis on-prem database.
• Participate in On-Call Rotations: Be available for occasional weekend on-call shifts, providing critical support and ensuring service reliability.
