Site Reliability Engineer

Job Title: SRE engineer
Location: Mclean, VA
Duration: 4 Months with possible extension

Introduction
We are seeking a strong Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a focus on observability of joining our team for a 4-month contract. The role is primarily centered around improving the observability for our clients, with a significant portion of the work dedicated to monitoring and developing dashboards to address business needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications

• Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years.
• Strong observability experience using New Relic and Splunk.
• Platform expertise with modern observability platforms, such as Observe, New Relic, Splunk, or Databricks.
• Expert-level ability to write complex queries (SQL-based or proprietary like NRQL/SPL) to aggregate API success rates, latency, and crash-free session data.
• Proven track record of building "Drill-Down" dashboard architectures.

• Experience with instrumentation using New Relic APM agents.
• Experience collaborating with engineers to understand data schemas and perform data modifications and cleanup.
• Familiarity with developing dashboards and addressing business needs through observability tools.

• Develop and enhance observability for clients, focusing on monitoring and dashboard development.
• Collaborate with engineers to understand data schemas and processes.
