Silicon CAD (Power) Engineer 

Location: Austin, TX (Onsite preferred)
Alternate Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Pay Rate: Up to $59/hr with benefits 

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Silicon CAD (Power) Engineer  to support advanced silicon development efforts at cutting?edge technology nodes. This role focuses on power analysis, optimization, and automation across the RTL?to?GDSII design flow, working closely with RTL and design teams to drive power?efficient solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform comprehensive power analysis across multiple design stages (RTL ? GDSII)
• Develop, improve, and automate power analysis flows
• Analyze large datasets to support power modeling and optimization
• Identify power inefficiencies and provide actionable feedback to RTL teams
• Support low?power implementation and signoff activities

Must?Have Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in silicon or ASIC design environments
• Strong experience with RTL?to?GDSII flows at advanced nodes (7nm and below)
• Expertise in low?power design and signoff, including:
  • Power gating
  • Multiple voltage rails
  • UPF (Unified Power Format)
• Hands?on experience with power analysis tools (PrimeTime PX / PrimePower)
• Strong Python scripting skills; exposure to ML/AI frameworks preferred
• Solid understanding of RTL design principles
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
