Salary Range: $82,000 - $127,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing shop floor, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
• Manage and motivate a team of shop floor employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor production schedules and quality control standards, identifying and resolving production bottlenecks or defects.
• Manage inventory of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, maintenance, and logistics, to ensure smooth production processes.
• Maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, coordinating repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Develop and manage the shop floor budget, controlling costs and seeking opportunities for efficiency improvements.

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes and machinery.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Proficiency in inventory management and supply chain principles.
• Knowledge of quality control standards and safety regulations.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• - Proficiency in inventory management software and MRP systems.
• - Strong understanding of quality control procedures and statistical process control (SPC).
• - Experience with scheduling and production planning to optimize workflow.
• - Familiarity with preventative maintenance schedules and equipment upkeep.
