Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop floor operations, ensuring efficient workflow and production targets are met.
• Manage and lead a team of production staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and scheduling.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with procurement and logistics.
• Ensure quality control standards are met throughout the manufacturing process, addressing any deviations.
• Maintain and troubleshoot machinery and equipment, coordinating repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize costs.
• Manage shop floor budgets, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in manufacturing operations and shop floor management.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Proficiency in production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Knowledge of quality control systems and safety regulations within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production reporting.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
• - Experience with ERP/MRP systems
• - Strong understanding of quality control methodologies
• - Proficient in CAD software
