Salary Range: $87,000 - $133,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop floor operations, ensuring efficient production flow and adherence to schedules.
• Manage and develop a team of production staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and motivation.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
• Monitor and control production costs, identifying areas for improvement and cost reduction.
• Ensure quality standards are met through regular inspections and adherence to quality control processes.
• Maintain inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods, coordinating with procurement and logistics.
• Collaborate with engineering and planning departments to optimize production processes and resolve technical issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in manufacturing operations management
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Proficiency in inventory management and supply chain optimization
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control costs
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in a manufacturing setting

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and implementation
• - Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• - Strong understanding of quality control systems and statistical process control (SPC)
