Position Summary:
The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring materials are properly handled and documented. This role supports warehouse operations by ensuring timely and accurate processing of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packaging and labeling
Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records
Enter data into inventory and shipping systems
Coordinate with carriers and schedule pickups/deliveries
Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts
Report damaged or missing items
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications:
Previous shipping and receiving or warehouse experience preferred
Basic computer and data entry skills
Familiarity with shipping software and inventory systems a plus
Ability to lift and move materials as required
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
