Shipping Clerk

Assemble a wide variety of outgoing material for shipment following written or detailed instruction. Correctly identify material, count, weigh count and package outgoing material using standard or pre-established containers and container quantities. Label or stencil shipping containers. Performs duties following standard procedures or general instruction. Transfer goods to shipping dock for loading trucks. Loads and unloads trucks. Checks, counts, weighs, or weigh counts a wide variety of incoming parts, materials, or supplies. Checks for shortages (discrepancies), damage in transit, broken packages and other obvious defects. Reports all discrepancies, damage or unusual conditions to supervisor. Signs for received goods and makes out receiving report. Move or expedite material to proper department or place in temporary storage area following general instructions. Maintains area and yard housekeeping as required or directed.

Schedule - Full-Time Shifts

• 5:00 am - 1:00 pm
• Overtime may be mandatory

Wages

• Starting pay $20.10 (Pay increase after 90 days and annually thereafter)
• Paid weekly
• Direct deposit available
• Overtime pay:
  • Mon - Fri: Anything over 8hrs paid at time and a half
  • Saturday: Time and a half
  • Sunday: Double time
