Title: Shipper/Receiver
Type of Placement: Temp to Perm
Shift: 1st shift 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday (Overtime after 8 regular hours worked)
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

SUMMARY:
- The Shipper/Receiver will support the Operations Manager and support the work of the Packaging and Production teams. General warehouse work and shipping and receiving responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Loading and unloading trucks using pallet jack, forklift or by hand
- Packing orders for shipment
- Using work instructions and drawings to assemble kits and prepare for shipment
- Arranging and scheduling shipments for items in and out of warehouse location
- Receiving items into system and providing the office with all shipping and receiving related documents
- Tracking location and inventory of all items in the warehouse
- Preparing shipping documents with assistance from office, when needed
- Keeping warehouse clean and organized with an eye for safety
- Supporting and encouraging an environment of strong teamwork and cooperation
- Demonstrating proper safety protocols, including cleanliness and proper use of equipment
- Assisting in all aspects of warehouse operations and maintenance, including operation of forklift (when certified) and ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Note: Mandatory overtime may be required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)/Home School equivalency

- Ability to use computer systems

- Strong verbal communication skills, good written communication skills
- Responsive and reliable

Environmental Conditions:
- Working in a warehouse can be a noisy, busy place with many warehouse operations.
- Can be cold or warm environment depending on season.
Physical Capabilities:
- Must be able to: stand for 8 hours and move from role to role or sedentary standing; lift light to moderate amounts of weight; perform repetitive upper extremity motions and repetitive forceful grip/pinch movement requiring both hands.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
