We are seeking an energetic and motivated Manager for The Catch, a lively restaurant dedicated to serving high-quality seafood and creating memorable dining moments. As a key leader, you will oversee daily operations, ensure top-notch customer service, and inspire your team to excel. Duties:
  • Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, kitchen management, and customer service delivery.
  • Supervise staff training, development, and performance to ensure high standards of food safety, hygiene, and service excellence.
  • Oversee inventory control, food handling procedures, and food production processes to maintain quality standards and minimize waste.
  • Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling, order processing, and sales tracking.
  • Coordinate shift management to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours while maintaining a lively atmosphere.
  • Monitor budgeting activities, cost controls, and financial performance to meet operational goals.
  • Foster a team-oriented environment by interviewing candidates, conducting staff training sessions, and supporting professional growth initiatives.
  • Uphold food safety regulations and hospitality standards across all areas of the restaurant including casual dining, fine dining, catering, and bar services.
  • Engage with customers to ensure satisfaction, handle feedback professionally, and promote repeat business.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in restaurant management with a focus on food service management in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments.
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, kitchen management, and culinary experience.
  • Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience in hospitality management or restaurant operations with team management responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of inventory control practices, food safety standards, and budgeting processes within the food industry.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster a positive team environment.
  • Prior experience in managing shift operations in a high-volume setting like a quick service or casual dining restaurant is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills coupled with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service in diverse hospitality settings including hotel or banquet experiences are highly valued.
