Our Service and Warranty Department is well established and prepared to provide post-construction services. The Special Projects Division handles the most difficult and challenging projects

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Sheet Metal Division Manager to join our thriving Construction team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead our sheet metal division, overseeing all aspects of duct construction and dry side procurement. As a key member of our management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving the team towards meeting strategic goals and objectives. This position requires not only a high level of technical expertise but also exceptional leadership and project management skills.

Responsibilities:
The Permanent Sheet Metal Division Manager will be responsible for the following:

1. Oversee and manage all operations within the sheet metal division, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards of quality.

2. Lead the planning and implementation of duct construction projects and manage the dry side procurement process.

3. Supervise and coordinate the work of the sheet metal division team, fostering a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and safety.

4. Collaborate with the BIM Coordinator to ensure accurate, efficient, and effective use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in projects.

5. Oversee the quality control of shop drawings, ensuring they meet all necessary standards and specifications.

6. Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and performance within the division.

7. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, building and maintaining strong professional relationships.

8. Ensure compliance with all industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Sheet Metal Division Manager position will possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, with a strong focus on sheet metal and duct construction.

2. Proven experience in dry side procurement and a sound understanding of the entire procurement process.

3. Demonstrated experience as a BIM Coordinator, with a high level of proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM).

4. Extensive knowledge and experience in the quality control of shop drawings.

5. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate, guide, and develop a team.

6. Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high standards of quality.

7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

8. A strong commitment to safety, with a deep understanding of industry regulations and standards.

9. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
