Description: Shag Driver
This position is responsible for maintaining a smooth and accurate flow of trailers to the docks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to JBS policies and procedures.
Tasks:
Operate shag tractor-trailer combination in a confined space. Spot trailers in and out of loading docks in a safe and timely manner. Sweep/clean interior of trailers. Monitor and conduct product protection. Monitor temperature on trailer units. Perform tractor pre-checks.
Requirements
Minimum of one year tractor trailer experience and /or valid CDL driver license is preferred.. Good attendance and safety record. Good communication skills. Self-motivated and ability to work independently. Willing to fill-in on opposite shift if needed. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Must be willing and able to become shag-tractor qualified.
