Introduction

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a ServiceNow Developer. This role requires a strong background in ServiceNow ITSM development and implementation, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions and ensuring compliance with federal requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience as a ServiceNow ITSM Developer with expertise in Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, or Service Catalog, Mobile App, Virtual Agent, integrations
  • Ability to configure ServiceNow ITSM applications in alignment with approved design plans
  • Knowledge of unit testing, system integration testing, performance testing, user acceptance testing, or any client-specific testing
  • Experience with developing ServiceNow software solutions using JavaScript, Jelly, Web Services, XML, HTML, and CSS
  • Familiarity with SQL query creation and LDAP Query for connecting to and pulling data from Oracle, MySQL databases, and AD respectively
  • ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator
  • Knowledge in Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL/industry standards
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certification
  • ITIL V3/V4 foundation certification
  • Experience in ServiceNow Custom Development

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Experience with the Service Catalog module and creating custom applications
  • Ability to implement moderate to complex custom widgets and backend scripting
  • Hands-on experience in configuring Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Script Includes, Access Control Lists, complex workflows, and solution migration to higher environments
  • Experience in developing ServiceNow integrations using APIs, web services, and data imports/exports
  • Experience in Workflows, SLAs, Import Sets, and Update Sets
  • Solid understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
