A bit about us:
We are a growing Jan/San distributor specializing in commercial cleaning equipment and supplies. We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Service Technician to repair, maintain, and perform preventive maintenance on battery-powered cleaning equipment.
This role is primarily local field service, with 90% of work within a 40-mile radius of Springfield. You will be supported with the right tools, vehicle, and resources to do the job efficiently.

Job Details
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and service battery-powered commercial cleaning equipment
Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and inspections
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
Test equipment to ensure proper operation after service
Complete service documentation and work orders accurately
Communicate professionally with customers on-site
Maintain service vehicle, tools, and parts inventory
Follow safety procedures and company service standards
Equipment You’ll Work On
Battery-powered floor scrubbers and sweepers
Commercial cleaning equipment and related systems
Qualifications
Mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting experience
Experience servicing battery-powered or motorized equipment preferred
Ability to work independently in the field
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Strong work ethic and customer-focused mindset
Basic computer or mobile device skills for service documentation
