Job Details
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and commission industrial inkjet printers and imaging systems at customer sites
Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service on inkjet equipment and associated systems
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues in high-speed production environments
Troubleshoot print quality, ink delivery systems, and controller/software functionality
Support integration with mailing/inserting systems and production workflows
Provide technical training and operational guidance to customers and operators
Document service activities, parts usage, and system performance reports
Maintain strong communication with internal engineering and support teams
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
Required Qualifications
2–5+ years of experience in field service, industrial maintenance, or technical repair roles
Experience working with industrial printers, inkjet systems, or similar automated equipment
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with PLCs, sensors, and industrial controls (preferred)
Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to travel (regional or national as required)
Preferred Experience
Experience with FlowMaster, MSE MSD, or Epic systems
Background in mailing, printing, packaging, or manufacturing environments
Experience supporting high-speed production or automated systems
Knowledge of ink systems, print heads (HP, Kyocera, etc.), or imaging technology
Exposure to networked production systems or industrial software platforms
Physical & Work Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on industrial equipment
Comfortable working in production environments (noise, heat, moving machinery)
Ability to stand, bend, and work in tight spaces as needed
