Our Service and Warranty Department is well established and prepared to provide post-construction services. The Special Projects Division handles the most difficult and challenging projects

We are currently seeking a dynamic, proactive, and experienced Permanent Service Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. This exciting role will oversee and manage a team of skilled professionals and coordinate various services such as plumbing, fire, electrical, dispatch, and service coordination. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in the construction industry, with a focus on service management. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, a strong ability to manage complexity and a high level of attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all aspects of the service department, including plumbing, fire, electrical, dispatch, and service coordination.
2. Develop and implement service procedures, policies, and standards to enhance operational efficiency.
3. Coordinate with other departments to ensure that services are provided in a timely and efficient manner.
4. Oversee the dispatch of service technicians, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
5. Manage and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise in the service department.
6. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the service team, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
7. Conduct regular meetings with the service team to discuss progress, challenges, and future plans.
8. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
10. Monitor and manage service department budget and financial performance.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a specific focus on service management.
2. Proven experience in managing plumbing, fire, electrical, dispatch, and service coordination services.
3. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex situations and challenges.
5. Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards in the construction industry.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
7. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
8. Strong financial management skills, with the ability to manage budgets and monitor financial performance.
9. A commitment to ongoing learning and development in the construction industry.
