What You Can Expect:
- Service, calibration, and maintenance of exhaust analysis and measurement systems at customer sites.
- Electronic/pneumatic installation/commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of system issues
- Customer support and training on system use and application
Your Profile:
- Strong technical background in electronics, precise / intricate mechanical, pneumatics, and software disciplines……work history or formal training/education
- Previous experience in the automotive industry or in technical service roles is an advantage
- Solid computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office, Linux, LAN & CAN protocols
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written
- Independent and team-oriented, with a proactive mindset
- Must be able to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally. Must be able to drive an automobile and possess a valid drivers license; must be able to obtain a passport
Responsibilities:
- Execute flawless installations, start-ups, and commissioning of sophisticated automotive test systems,
- Prepare comprehensive Field Service Reports for invoicing, warranty claims, and policy purposes, maintaining detailed and accurate documentation.
- Provide redlined drawings detailing field changes, contributing to continuous improvement and accuracy of technical specifications.
- Execute Acceptance Documents and Procedures to validate instrument functionality. Requirements:
- Trade school, military technical training, and/or proven relevant work experience
- Excellent customer service skills, with a strong focus on building and maintaining positive client relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, capable of conveying complex technical information clearly and concisely.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and project management.
- Willingness to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally, to support customer needs on-site.

TECHNICAL SKILLS THAT ARE RELEVANT OR HELPFUL
· System Diagnostics: Using software based test equipment to evaluate functionality of instrumentation (analytical equipment).
· Performing preventive maintenance. Replacing consumable parts such as O-rings, pneumatic pumps, filters, and solenoid valves.
· Troubleshooting using wiring and flow diagrams to identify malfunctioning instrumentation.
· Repairing defective components, such as circuit boards, electrical cabling/connectors, relays, solenoid valves, pneumatic pumps
