Summary:

Location: Texas, TX

Duration: 4 Months



Responsibilities:

  • Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance
  • Conduct maintenance and calibration activities on water treatment equipment
  • Perform analytical bench top testing
  • Collect water and process samples
  • Manage chemicals, including forklift operations and chemical transfers
  • Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts
  • Create and maintain site paperwork, providing customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed
  • Conduct mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
  • Consult with company management and operation teams
  • Ensure contract compliance with volume and quality specifications
  • Perform other duties as required


Requirements:

  • High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent
  • 2 years’ experience in service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
  • Valid Driver’s License


Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet all customer site requirements
  • Experience in water treatment equipment maintenance is preferred
  • Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel within the region as needed


Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's or associate degree in science/engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation
