Summary:
Location: Texas, TX
Duration: 4 Months
Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance
- Conduct maintenance and calibration activities on water treatment equipment
- Perform analytical bench top testing
- Collect water and process samples
- Manage chemicals, including forklift operations and chemical transfers
- Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts
- Create and maintain site paperwork, providing customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed
- Conduct mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
- Consult with company management and operation teams
- Ensure contract compliance with volume and quality specifications
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
- High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent
- 2 years’ experience in service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
- Valid Driver’s License
Required Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to meet all customer site requirements
- Experience in water treatment equipment maintenance is preferred
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel within the region as needed
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor's or associate degree in science/engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation
