Server

Job Overview:

A Breakfast/Lunch Server is responsible for providing prompt, courteous, and efficient service to guests during morning and midday meal periods. This role requires strong customer service skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail. The server ensures guests have a positive dining experience from the time they are seated until they leave.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
  
• Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations
  
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to kitchen staff
  
• Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal
  
• Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs, including refilling drinks and clearing plates
  
• Handle payments, operate POS systems, and issue receipts
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations
  
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times
  

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  
• Friendly, positive attitude and professional appearance
  
• Basic math skills for handling payments
  
• Flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  
• Ability to lift trays or items up to 25 lbs
  
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach as needed during service
