Senior Financial Analyst –Technology
The Senior Financial Analyst will support the Technology Investment function in all aspects of financial management for the Technology organization. This role includes accrual management, internal financial reporting and forecasting, financial analysis, annual planning support, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and record appropriate accruals during the monthly financial close process.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analyses to communicate results to Technology leadership.
  • Develop monthly forecasts and identify potential budget pressures and cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Participate in monthly financial review meetings with Technology leadership.
  • Assist in the preparation and development of the annual Operations & Maintenance (O&M) plan.
  • Support invoice processing activities within Accounts Payable platforms as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable procedures, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties and support initiatives as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in accounting and/or finance.
  • Knowledge of fundamental accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong business acumen with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to quickly learn new financial systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and positive attitude.
  • Self-motivated with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience working in a high-visibility, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making abilities.

Work Environment
  • Hybrid work arrangement: approximately three days per week in office and two days remote.
  • Office days may vary based on business needs.
  • Company-provided equipment (laptop, monitor, and accessories) will be issued for the duration of the assignment.
  • Reliable home internet and mobile phone service are required.
  • Training will be provided either onsite or remotely through video conferencing depending on business needs.
