Senior WebSphere Commerce Developer

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise solutions using IBM WebSphere Commerce
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and service-oriented integrations
- Develop using Java, SpringBoot
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices
- Support platform upgrades and modernization initiatives (WCS/HCL Commerce)
- Catalog and product management
- Pricing, contracts, and promotions
- Order processing and fulfillment
- Member, role, and entitlement management
- SAP ERP
- OMS, PIM, payment providers, and third-party services
Requirements:
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- 4+ years of hands-on IBM WebSphere Commerce (v7, v8, or v9/HCL Commerce)
- Strong expertise in Java/J2EE enterprise development
- Strong Linux/Unix experience
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Maven, Jenkins, Git)
- WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
- REST APIs and Web Services
- SQL and relational databases (DB2, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Contract and customer-specific pricing
- Large SKU catalogs
- Account-based purchasing models
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
