Our team is at the forefront of AI-augmented research, where we've developed tools that reduce research time from tens of minutes to seconds-enabling faster insights and more impactful decision-making. Here, your research will directly influence product strategy, design direction, and the advertiser experience across Amazon advertising. Key job responsibilities As a Senior UX Researcher on the Amazon Advertiser UX team, you will own the complete research lifecycle while driving strategic impact across our B2B advertising experience. You'll apply expertise across research methodologies to solve complex business problems, optimize every phase from defining objectives to synthesizing insights, and master analytical techniques with strong judgment about which methods to use. You'll transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that drive product decisions, identify market opportunities by working backward from advertiser needs, and articulate customer challenges with precision while making evidence-based recommendations. Leveraging AI-augmented research tools that reduce research time from tens of minutes to seconds, you'll deliver high-quality findings through compelling reports and authentic user evidence. You'll communicate research impact on product roadmaps and design decisions to cross-functional partners, create artifacts that resonate with diverse audiences from engineers to senior leadership, and build stakeholder alignment around customer insights that drive change across the advertiser experience. Working in a B2B environment, your research will influence how millions of advertisers worldwide interact with Amazon's advertising ecosystem, shaping products used by brands and agencies across multiple markets. Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of proven success leading User Research projects with demonstrated impact experience - Experience with all aspects of research (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting) - Experience in leading User Research projects with demonstrated impact - Have a portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables (e.g., study plans, reports, personas) - Bachelor's degree in HCDE, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field - Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production Preferred Qualifications - Master's degree in Human Factors, HCDE, Cognitive Psychology or equivalent - Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities - Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilities - 5+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
