Wage: $100,589/year.
Duties:
- Oversees the end-to-end design process from concept to final implementation, ensuring alignment with IT financial project requirements and objectives;
- Applies advanced knowledge of financial markets, products, and systems (including Bloomberg, Reuters, and similar platforms) to inform design decisions and ensure financial accuracy in the development of IT financial systems;
- Executes interaction design and visual design of CompatibL Platform and makes corrections to existing components that will be integrated into CompatibL Platform;
- Enhances and optimizes existing UI elements of CompatibL Platform for better performance;
- Collaborates with software development teams to understand and integrate financial risk models (XVaR, CVA, DVA, etc.) into the design of financial technology solutions, including
CompatibL Platform, ensuring compliance with industry standards;
- Designs user interfaces and workflows that adhere to the specific requirements of financial instruments, such as derivatives, options, and credit products, ensuring ease of use for
financial professionals;
- Ensures designs adhere to regulatory and compliance standards within financial technology, including risk reporting, stress testing, and portfolio management tools;
The job is to be performed remotely.
- Works closely with quantitative analysts and financial engineers to translate complex data visualizations and risk metrics (e.g., VAR, XVa, and sensitivities) into user-friendly interfaces
and dashboards;
- Leads comprehensive user research, in-depth usability studies, and A/B testing to gather insights and validate design decisions within the context of complex financial systems;
- Prepares detailed specifications for deliverables to be executed by development teams and other stakeholders, ensuring that design objectives are clearly communicated;
- Manages production workflows and suggests improvements to optimize efficiency within IT financial projects;
- Drives innovation in design by exploring new approaches, tools, and methodologies, with a focus on advancing design solutions for financial technology.
