Job Description (Posting).	Senior Technical Lead with Mainframe - Cobol, DB2, VSAM, JCL, CICS Job Summary The Senior Technical Lead will be responsible for leading technical projects related to Mainframe technologies such as Cobol, DB2, VSAM, JCL, and Mainframe CICS. They will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of mainframe solutions and will be involved in all aspects of the development lifecycle. (1.) Key Responsibilities 1. Lead and mentor a team of mainframe developers in designing, developing, and implementing mainframe applications. 2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise to propose solutions. 3. Perform code reviews, ensure best practices, and maintain coding standards within the team. 4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in mainframe applications in a timely manner. 5. Coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mainframe applications with other systems. 6. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to mainframe development. Skill Requirements 1. Strong expertise in mainframe technologies such as cobol, db2, vsam, jcl, and mainframe cics. 2. Proficient in debugging, performance tuning, and optimization of mainframe applications. 3. Solid understanding of end-to-end mainframe development lifecycle. 4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 5. Strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively lead a technical team. Certifications: Certifications in Mainframe technologies or leadership certifications are a plus.

CA7 is mandatory skill, entire discussion will be focus on there roles/ responsibilities on using this scheduler tool We are ready to consider visa dependent candidates as well with right experience End to End Mainframe Support The primary focus is on the CA7 scheduler tool. Talents requires hands-on experience with CA7 to schedule LPARs, manage batch cycles, and execute batch runs using CA7. Strong CA7 operations knowledge is required. Responsibilities include monitoring jobs, resolving issues, and rerunning jobs through CA7. There is no development work involved; the role is limited to running test cycles to perform end-to-end (E2E) testing across multiple projects in PRE-PROD environment. Good experience on JCL, COBOL, VSAM, DB2
