Job Details
As a Tax Senior Manager in our High-Net-Worth Tax practice, you will work closely with individual clients to support the effective transition of wealth across generations. Our clients are primarily multi-generational family offices. This role combines technical tax expertise, client advisory, and team leadership. Typical responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reviewing highly complex tax returns—including individual, fiduciary, corporate, partnership, and nonprofit filings—while ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Evaluating tax strategies across individuals, trusts, and estates from multiple perspectives to maximize tax efficiency.
- Leading and reviewing staff work to ensure compliance with firm standards, processes, and deadlines.
- Partnering with clients to develop comprehensive wealth transition strategies, including cash flow modeling, income distribution planning, business succession, estate preservation, and estate plan implementation.
- Reviewing and interpreting legal documents related to estate planning and business succession.
- Conducting technical research on individual, trust, and estate tax compliance and planning matters.
- Mentoring, coaching, and developing team members through ongoing feedback, recognition, and support.
- Managing client relationships by proactively identifying planning opportunities and delivering value-added solutions.
- Contributing to business development efforts through prospect identification, proposal and engagement preparation, industry research, and participation in networking and professional events.
