Key Responsibilities
Prepare Individual Tax Returns (1040s):
Review and scan client documentation received via mail or in-person meetings
Accurately input financial data into tax software
Prepare and submit returns for e-filing
Review & Sign Off on Returns:
Review completed individual tax returns for accuracy and completeness
Identify and correct errors directly within the system
Print, finalize, and sign off on returns
Focus exclusively on individual returns (business returns handled separately)
Qualifications
CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) required
5–6+ recent tax seasons of experience
Strong expertise in reviewing and finalizing individual (1040) tax returns
High level of confidence working independently and making corrections as needed
