Senior Tax

- Prepare and review complex tax and informational filings, including required schedules and supporting documentation
- Analyze financial statements and related data to ensure accurate reporting and regulatory compliance
- Gather, organize, and evaluate documentation to support tax filings and audits
- Perform detailed technical reviews of completed returns to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to applicable regulations
- Research and interpret tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements to support compliance and risk mitigation
- Assist with state and local registrations, filings, and ongoing compliance obligations
- Support tax provision, reporting, or special projects as needed
- Collaborate with internal accounting, finance, and cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve reporting processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement of tax compliance procedures and documentation
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in tax, accounting, or related compliance roles
- Experience preparing and reviewing complex tax or informational filings
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and reporting requirements
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA) preferred but not required
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
