We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Tax Associate to join our Accounting and Finance team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients and industries.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Tax Associate, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns (1120S, S Corp, Federal & State Tax, Real Estate Tax, and Income Tax) for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
  • Conducting multi-entity financial reviews and tax planning for clients.
  • Providing tax accounting services, including state and local tax, tax preparation, and tax planning.
  • Providing timely and high-quality services and work products that exceed client expectations.
  • Building relationships and interacting with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting, and expertise.
  • Researching and consulting on various tax matters; utilizing tax-related software to prepare and process returns and research tax matters.
  • Responding to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities.
  • Identifying and mitigating tax risks.
  • Coordinating tax work with accountants and auditors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or Enrolled Agent certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in public accounting or other related fields.
  • Strong experience in multi-entity, financial review, and tax planning.
  • Proficiency in tax compliance and consulting services for the real estate industry.
  • Strong experience with a variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements.
  • Strong ability to utilize project management and accounting best practices to organize and prioritize tasks.
  • Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships.
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
  • Proficient in tax software and technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
