Senior Tax Accountant
Location: Fresno County
Pay: $80,000 – $100,000
We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join a stable, private industry company in Fresno County. This role will primarily focus on tax-related responsibilities while also supporting general ledger activities. It’s a great opportunity for someone looking to stay hands-on with tax while gaining broader accounting exposure in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review federal and state tax filings
Assist with tax provisions and compliance processes
Research and interpret tax regulations and ensure compliance
Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors
Support month-end close including journal entries and reconciliations
Maintain general ledger accounts and supporting schedules
Assist with financial reporting and internal documentation
Identify opportunities for process improvements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3–6 years of tax and/or accounting experience
Public accounting or tax-focused experience preferred
