We are seeking a dynamic Senior Tax Accountant to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for tax preparation, ASC 740, forecasting and planning on a monthly basis, and using Alteryx. This role requires a candidate with 5+ years of tax experience with a focus on corporate taxation. The ideal candidate will have a CPA or be in the process of obtaining one, and possess knowledge of OneSource OTP and OIT. This is a permanent position, offering a great opportunity to work with a team of seasoned professionals in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Tax Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of corporate tax returns and ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements.
  • Preparation of year-end and quarterly ASC 740 calculations.
  • Forecasting and planning on a monthly basis to ensure the company's financial stability and growth.
  • Utilizing Alteryx for data blending and advanced data analytics.
  • Researching and planning according to current tax laws and to optimize tax payable.
  • Liaising with internal and external auditors to ensure tax practices align with the company's financial management strategy.
  • Assisting with the implementation of tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and risks.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely filing of tax forms.
  • Providing support in financial decision-making processes by providing expertise and guidance in tax matters.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Senior Tax Accountant position, you must have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of tax experience with a focus on corporate taxation.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or in the process of obtaining.
  • Proficient in ASC 740 and experienced in its preparation for year-end and quarterly calculations.
  • Strong experience with Alteryx and knowledge of OneSource OTP and OIT.
  • Excellent understanding of tax code, compliance, and procedures for corporations.
  • Proficient in tax forecasting and financial planning on a monthly basis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and produce relevant conclusions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong team player with the ability to work independently when required.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically and critically.
