Senior Systems Engineer

IDR is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Sandy Springs, Georgia. This role supports infrastructure and identity-focused systems within a healthcare environment, primarily managing Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra ID administration in a MSP-managed setting. The position involves collaborating with MSP partners, overseeing technical operations, and providing hands-on troubleshooting for healthcare-related IT systems.

Position Overview for the Senior Systems Engineer:

• Support and oversee the MSP-managed environment, focusing on infrastructure and identity systems.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra ID security controls, including MFA and Conditional Access.
• Manage endpoint imaging, automation, and workstation provisioning using tools like Autopilot.
• Provide basic networking support such as DHCP, routing, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Support VoIP systems and network hardware, including Meraki and Cisco Firewalls, across multiple sites.

Requirements for the Senior Systems Engineer:

• Experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem including Azure, Entra ID, MFA, and conditional access.
• Knowledge of Intune, Endpoint management, and device provisioning tools like Autopilot.
• Fundamental networking skills: DHCP, IP addressing, and basic troubleshooting.
• Support and troubleshooting of VoIP systems such as Five9 or Nextiva.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate with MSP partners, and travel to ~35 metro Atlanta sites as needed.
