Cimarron is seeking a Senior Windows Systems Administrator to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at the Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado. This is a second shift position. Key Duties: Build, configure, deploy, administer, maintain, and troubleshoot virtual and physical servers and systems. Evaluate developer documentation and media to meet installation deadlines with available resources. Recommend and execute work plans that support critical-path requirements. Manage system changes and ensure team compliance with configuration management and documentation standards. Provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems. Install, configure, and manage an on-prem Active Directory environment, including GPOs. Assist with problem definition, analysis, requirements development, and implementation. Advise on system development improvements, optimization tools, and process development. Track and report installation progress to managers daily. Perform inspections and troubleshoot using system logs, tools, and software. Collaborate with internal teams and government representatives to complete daily tasks. Coordinate developer support during installations when required. Required/Desired Skills, Experience, and Education Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time. Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use. Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. Willingness and ability to work evening shifts, typically from 1400 to 2000, with flexibility to adjust hours to support off-hour mission activities. 7 or more years of directly related experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows Operating Systems and applications such as Windows Server 2012 - 2016 and Windows 10. 1 or more year(s) of management or leadership experience. Strong knowledge of Active Directory Users and Computers, Sites and Services, DNS, Group Policy, TCP/IP networking, and LDAP. Experience building, configuring, and deploying servers and systems in a virtualized environment. Ability to collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, developers, and subject matter experts to resolve complex integration and technical issues. Effective written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders at all organizational levels. High School diploma or equivalent and 12 or more years of experience, Associate degree and 10 or more years of experience, Bachelor's degree and 8 or more years of experience, or Master's degree. Desired Skills, Experience, and Education: Strong understanding of troubleshooting approaches and root cause analysis. Experience with Multi-Factor Authentication methodology. Experience with patch and software management using HCL BigFix. Experience with HP hardware. Experience with NetApp NAS storage. Proficiency in Windows Active Directory and familiarity with Linux. Experience building, configuring, and deploying servers and systems using vSphere 6.5 or later. Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting. Knowledge and experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). Possession of an MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent certification.
