SENIOR SUBSTATION PROJECT EXECUTION MANAGER

SUMMARY
The Senior Substation Project Execution Manager will beresponsibleformanaging and overseeingthesuccessfulexecutionofengineeringprojectswithintherenewableenergyspace, with a focus on solar, batterystorage, and other clean energysolutions.This position reports to the Field Operations Manager III, Substation Execution, or another management personnel that the CEO of the Company may designate. Thisrole will involvemanagingcomplexprojectsfromtheplanning and design phasestoconstruction and completion. The Senior Substation Project Execution Manager will collaboratecloselywith internal engineering, procurement, logistics, and operational teams, ensuringtimely and effectivedeliveryofprojectswhilemaintaining high standardsofquality, safety, and compliance. This positionrequires a strong engineeringbackground, hands-on projectexecutionexperience, and theabilitytonavigatethetechnical, financial, and regulatorychallengesassociatedwithrenewableenergyprojects.
This position reports to the Field Operations Manager III, or another management personnel that the CEO may designate. This position is remote, working from home and traveling toproject sites. Working hours will depend on project demands. This position is expected to travel up to 20% of the time.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Execution:
- Lead and manage thefulllifecycleofengineeringprojectsfrom initial planningthroughconstruction and completion, ensuringprojectsmeetdeadlines, budgets, and qualitystandards.
- Collaboratewith internal teamstodefineprojectscope, goals, and deliverables, ensuringalignmentwithcompanyobjectives and clientneeds.
- Develop and manage detailedprojectschedules, budgets, and resources, adjustingasnecessarytoachieve optimal projectoutcomes.
- Overseetechnicalaspectsofprojects, includingdesign, engineering, and compliancewithregulatory and safetystandards.
- Lead projectmeetings, track progress, and addressanyissuesorrisksthatariseduringprojectexecution.
Team Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Foster collaborationbetweenengineering, procurement, logistics, projectmanagement, construction, and otherdepartmentstodriveefficientprojectexecution.
- Serveasthemainpointofcontactfor internal stakeholders and external partners, includingclients, subcontractors, and regulatorybodies.
- Effectivelycommunicateprojectstatus, risks, and opportunitiestoseniorleadership and keystakeholders.
Risk Management & Problem-Solving:
- Proactivelyidentify potential projectrisks and developstrategiestomitigateorresolvethem.
- Applyadvancedtechnicalknowledgetotroubleshoot and solvecomplexengineering and project-relatedissues.
- Implement riskmanagementprocessestoanticipatechallengesearly and developsolutionstominimizeimpacts on projecttimelines and budgets.
Technical Expertise & Quality Control:
- Apply expert engineeringknowledgetoevaluate design plans, ensurethattheappropriatetechnicalsolutionsareimplemented, and verifycompliancewithstandards and clientrequirements.
- Review engineeringdesigns and ensurethe proper selectionofmaterials, equipment, and constructionmethods.
- Ensurethat all projectsmeetorexceedtechnical, safety, and regulatorystandards.
Strategic Contribution & Business Development:
- Contributetothestrategicplanningoftheengineeringdepartment and organization’soverallprojectportfolio.
- Stayinformedaboutindustrytrends, technologicaladvancements, and marketdynamicstohelpdrivecontinuousimprovement.
- Support thedevelopmentofproposals, bids, and otherbusinessdevelopmentactivitiesasneeded.

- Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering), or a relateddiscipline.
- 5+ yearsofexperience in engineeringprojectmanagementwithintherenewableenergysector.
- Provenexperience in managing large-scalerenewableenergyprojects, including solar, batterystorage, orother clean energysolutions.
- Strong technicalbackgroundwith a deepunderstandingofengineering design, constructionprocesses, and regulatoryrequirements.
- Familiaritywithprojectmanagementtools and software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and criticalthinkingskills.
- Exceptionalcommunication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, withtheabilitytoinfluence and leadteamseffectively.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competingpriorities in a fast-pacedenvironment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanceddegrees in Engineering, Project Management, or Business Administration.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certificationorequivalent.
- Experience workingwith large, cross-functionalteams on complex, multi-disciplinaryprojects.
