| 8 | Job Description | Provide enterprise-level SQL database administration and support for GPO's mission-critical systems, ensuring database performance, security, and reliability. The role supports the SQL Server and SQL Cluster environments, including related technologies such as MariaDB, MySQL, and MS Access. Core Responsibilities: Administer, configure, and maintain SQL Server and SQL Cluster databases. Perform performance tuning, replication, and backup/recovery operations. Troubleshoot daily SQL Server issues and coordinate fixes with GPO application teams. Develop, deploy, and optimize T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, and data models. Support Requests for Change (RFC) and FootPrints tickets related to GBIS and other business systems. Perform after-hours maintenance (patching, upgrades, server reboots) as required. Deliver weekly support reports summarizing system health, incidents, and completed tasks. | ||||||||
