The Senior Development Engineer - Sitecore will plan, design, develop, configure, document, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain First Horizon website applications and content management services. The successful candidate should be innovative, energetic and comfortable leading and contributing to provide the most astonishing of customer experiences. The senior engineer will lead and collaborate as a member on a team of developers, business analysts, product managers, and QA/testing staff focused on delivering a secure and top-notch new website experience for our internal and external customers. The role responsibilities will include development, maintenance, and support of the website, configuration and maintenance of the Sitecore content management system (CMS), and supporting interfaces and connections between the website application and other First Horizon systems of record (SORs). The candidate should be able to bring technical expertise and industry best practice to the development team to ensure outstanding software development and delivery. Further, the candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team to develop features and capabilities as well as resolve issues or defects.
Required and Preferred Technical Skills:
- Strong object-oriented analysis and design skills and experience with the web technology stack is required
- Strong design, configuration, and maintenance expertise in Sitecore
- Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, TSS, Node.js
- Expertise in React, TailwindCSS, NextJS or similar frameworks
- Experience with automated testing frameworks like Playwright
- Experience in Web services including REST
- Advanced knowledge of source control and change control practices with a propensity to adhere to the established standards
- Experience deploying applications in a containerized, cloud environment (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Development experience with web applications deployed in complex, multi-tiered environments
- Knowledge of SQL Queries and Stored Procedures is a plus
- Dynatrace expertise would be a bonus
- Financial Services experience a plus

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, STEM or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
