Position Title: Senior Software Engineer – FIS Profile (Deposit Applications)

Summary

Senior engineer responsible for design, development, maintenance, and production support of the FIS Profile DDA platform (v6.2/AMR99) and PFW (Profile for Windows) front end across 12 highly customized EMEA/AD branch instances.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Profile DDA (v6.2/AMR99 in MUMPS/PSL) and PFW (PowerBuilder) to support new features, enhancements, and regulatory/business needs in all EMEA/AD instances.
• Provide technical support for all Profile environments (Development, QA, Release, Production), including troubleshooting issues, especially payment and interface flows to/from other systems.
• Document code changes, perform thorough unit testing, and hand over to QA/Business for further testing; conduct peer code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Review vendor-delivered fixes and enhancements from FIS before installation to validate quality and coding practices.
• Support maintenance and archiving of Profile databases and data, ensuring integrity and stability.
• Lead and support key initiatives such as Profile Upgrade/Replacement assessment and implementation, ACH Back Office, Cash Management and FX enhancements, electronic statements, audit/control improvements, and market reference data interfaces.
• Facilitate design workshops and contribute to testing and implementation activities for Profile-related projects and production changes.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in MUMPS, PSL (Profile Scripting Language), and PowerBuilder.
• Deep experience with FIS Profile DDA v6.2/AMR99 and PFW in legacy, highly customized banking environments.
• Experience with development and deployment tools such as UrbanCode, Perforce, and ServiceNow.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with proven ability to support complex core banking/deposit systems.
