Senior Software Architects

Job Description:                  Work with the solution architect to bring software expertise, feasibility studies, securing functionality and compatibility with existing systems, sizing and recommendations on customer projects. Act as key contributor of the value engagement framework. Define or review the workload, the tasks, the target schedule, the necessary hardware and software resources. Define the required Project Development Environment and lead the definition of the Development Quality Plan. Conduct interviews with customers to gather requirements on the integration of IT landscape of the customer and in particular on interfaces / upgrade / migration with the company’s platform. Follow implementation of the required Project Development Environment with the Deployment Consultant. Write from the functional specifications, the Technical Specification Dossier defining all needed Developments / Parameterizations aligned with R&D best practices. Assess the technical risk on Developments / Parameterizations. Work together with Infrastructure Architect, Solution Architect and Project Manager to secure projects deadlines. Collect the necessary information by identification of possible root causes to facilitate the fast treatment of incidents. Define and implement strategy to detect ICT problems and performance issues. Provide support for on customer new requests, scope changes, assess impact analysis, sizing and planning modifications and define architecture framework. Guide Software Consultant team, by defining and arbitrating delivery priorities, assigning tasks, resolving conflicts in agreement with Project Manager, to ensure development delivery on time, on quality and on costs. Integrate the various software components, parameterizations and after tests, deliver the integration package with the expected quality criteria, in compliance with the value engagement. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days a week according to company policy. Domestic travel required up to 25%.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or in related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.

Special Requirements: Position requires experience, knowledge or coursework in each of the following skills:

1. 3DEXPERIENCE platform and ENOVIA apps and native apps such as CATIA or DELMIA;
2. DevSecOps processes to integrate and automate software development, security practices and information technology operations. Executing build, deployment, automatic testing;
3. Data migration processes to select, prepare, extract, and transform data and permanently transferring it from one computer storage system to another;
4. Web development using JSP, HTML, XML, JQuery, Vue Js, JSON, and AJAX;
5. Programming Languages: Java, JavaScript, C++, Python;
6. One major industry such as Aero and Defense, Transport and Mobility, Life Science, Consumer Package Goods, or High Tech.
